MELBOURNE, FL, August 8, 2003 -- Noah
Industries today announced its partnership with Atheros
Communications as an Authorized Atheros Design Center (AADC).
This partnership will allow Noah to integrate Atheros
technology into new wireless network applications.
As an AADC, Noah will have access to certain Atheros software
and component design information, which will allow Noah to develop
integrated wireless network and LAN solutions for its customers
worldwide.
Noah
Industries, located in Melbourne Florida, is an interdisciplinary
design center with capabilities ranging from acousto and fiber
optics, to optical and laser scanning.
Noah’s services include all phases of development, from
exploratory designs to manufacturing.
In addition, Noah has developed its own product line,
including fiber optic test equipment and acousto optic instruments.
Atheros, located in Sunnyvale California, was
founded in 1998, and has focused on developing high performance
wireless networking products for both home and office applications.
Atheros is the first company to develop a 5GHz chipset for
802.11a wireless LAN application, a technology which is now included
in every 802.11a product on the market.
