How many bicycles will fit on it?

Our bikelift can accommodate all types of bicycles, including
beach cruisers, mountain bikes, and lightweight professional
touring bicycles.

How much headroom is there under the bicycle when it is stowed?
The
headroom under a stowed bicycle is approximately 7 feet.
This is enough room for large SUVs and Vans to drive and park underneath. This assumes that the bikelift is mounted on
an 8 foot 4 inch high garage ceiling. If you mount it on
a higher ceiling, then the headroom increases.

How much ceiling area is required to mount the HOBS?
An
area of 5 feet by 5 feet is adequate. There is plenty of
room in a 2-car garage for two or more bikelifts without
encroaching on the space required for garage-door openers.

How hard is it to operate the bikelift?
It
is real easy! The bikelift is designed to counterbalance
the weight of a bicycle so that the force required to lift it
into position is minimized.

How difficult is it to attach the bikelift to my ceiling?
It
is a very straightforward mounting process! The mounting
holes are positioned for standard 16 inch or 24 inch joist
spacings. We highly recommend using a stud finder to
precisely locate your joists and simply lag bolt the unit to
your joist.
